Aber Armoury is the Registered Firearms Dealer for Manley and Colwell Auctions.
Aber Armoury’s RFD number is 63/3361.
Aber Armoury is licensed to trade Section 1 and Section 2 firearms. We do not trade in Section 5 firearms.

The website http://manleyandcolwellauctions.com is built on WordPress and uses the WooCommerce plug-in for a seamless shop experience. WooCommerce is delivered through Automatic. Additionally we use the Ultimate Auction Pro plug-in to deliver silent bid auctions.
We do not use WooCommerce Payments or Stripe or store your financial data on this site.

Your personal data, what we collect and how we use it
When you first register we will request your email address. This will send an email from Manley and Colwell Auctions to the email address you specified, requesting you set a password.
We request you add a shipping and billing address in the My Account section to ensure we can process your payments and orders correctly.
Your past orders and bids will appear in your My Account section.
Manley and Colwell Auctions admin can view your Display Name and Email Address, Billing and Shipping Addresses, bids and past transaction data within the website backend. We can send password resets but cannot see your password.
Manley and Colwell Auctions has the ability to delete your bids. We will only do this at your request or in exceptional circumstances. You will receive an email to your account email address if a bid is deleted. If you would like us to delete your bid please contact us at info@manleyandcolwellauctions.com
We have the ability to block your account. If you win bids and do not pay on more than one occasion without good reason we will block your account. You will need to contact us to unblock it. Unblocking will be at our discretion.
The data we view and collect allows us to create a seamless bidding, purchasing and shipping experience, facilitates customers to bid and purchase items and manage the website specifically:
We require customers that bid to create an account to verify you have read our terms and conditions and that you are an adult over the age of 18. By agreeing to the terms you are declaring you are legally able to purchase a Section 1 or Section 2 firearm.
We require your email, billing and shipping addresses to prove your identity, invoice you and process your orders.
We need to retain your data to ensure we are tax compliant and to prevent fraudulent activities.
When we collect a firearm from a seller we require their name, contact details, details of the product we are picking up from you, your firearm licensing details to stay legally compliant and transfer the details to the new owner, and payment information to ensure we can pay you once your firearm has been sold.
We ask you to consent to cookies for third parties (such as Google) to analyse the user journey people take when they visit our website.

How long Manley and Colwell Auctions retain your data
Inactive accounts (users who have not logged in or placed an order) will be deleted after 24 months. Any previous orders you have made will be converted to Guest Orders.
Pending or failed orders where you neglect to pay will be deleted after 60 days. If you fail to pay for a bid you have won on more than one occasion without good reason, we will block your account.
Cancelled orders (by yourself or Manley and Colwell Auctions) will be deleted after 7 days.
Refunded order information will be anonymised after 12 months.
Completed order information will be kept for 24 months before converting to anonymised data.
The above retention information relates to our website data. Data may be stored on other systems dependent on how you interact with Aber Armoury shop.
Contact Forms
The information shared in our contact forms is sent directly to info@manleyandcolwellauctions.com hosted on Google Workspace.
Analytics
This website uses Google Site Kit to analyse the journey users take when they visit our website. It feeds into Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Page Speed Insights all of which fall under Google’s general Privacy Policy. This can be viewed at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB

When Manley and Colwell Auctions collect a seller’s firearm we input your name, date of birth, contact details, details of the firearm, licensing details and payment details into Aber Armoury’s Gun Register system as they are legally stored with Aber Armoury.

We will not share your data with anyone else beyond those described in this privacy policy.
International Data Transfers
The personal data we collect is primarily processed and stored within the UK. However, to operate our website and use specific services, your data may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the UK, specifically the United States of America (USA).

Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary.
