To buy a gun through our auctions, you will need to register an account with us. You will not be able to place bids without an account.
Go to the My Account section of this website to register.
You will be sent an email to the address you specify. Click the link in your email to confirm your account and set a password.
We request that you add a shipping and billing address in the My Account section so we can process your orders correctly.
Once you have an account, you will be able to place bids, add items to your watchlist and buy a gun. You can also view your past bids and orders.
All our auctions are silent bid (also known as sealed bid). This means you will not be able to see what other users have bid. Usually, with silent bids, users add the price they feel is fairest from the start.
You will receive an email if you are outbid, so you can place a higher amount if you choose to do so. The email won’t show the amount other people have bid.
For more information about buying a gun through us, please read our full Terms and Conditions. You must agree to these before using our site.
How we use and store your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Licensing
You will need to have the correct licence to buy a gun from us.
Section 1 rifles require you to have an available free slot for the gun you are buying.
If you win an auction, we will need to confirm your licence before we release your firearm to you.
If you choose to collect your purchase from the Aber Armoury shop please bring your licence with you. We will take your payment and transfer ownership to you.
If you cannot visit the shop, we will need to verify your licence before arranging delivery of the gun. You will need to post your licence to us via recorded delivery. Once we have verified your licence, processed your order and received payment, we will return the licence to you via recorded delivery.
We need to see your licence for every order you make. To clarify, you can purchase more than one product in a single auction, and we will need to see your appropriate licenses once for that order. If you go on to win more guns in the next auction, we will need to see your valid licences again. This is required by law.
No order will be released until we have confirmed you are licensed to own the guns you have bid on.
More information about gun liencing laws can be found on the UK Gov website at www.gov.uk/find-licences/shotgun-and-firearm-certificates
