Charles Boswell of London, 16 bore side-by-side boxlock ejector.
High-grade wood with a crest engraved into a brass inlay (dented), a few marks, and checkering is worn from use.
The fences are carved with oak leaves, and the top lever has a woodcock engraved on it.
The main action is engraved with scroll work, the right side has a pair of working dogs, the left side has 4 partridge, and the bottom has a working dog with a pheasant on the trigger guard.
This gun is stunning to look at and with a bit of tlc will be a great gun to use.
